MyAlarm Cloud & iFob Control App

The CM748B can allow a compatible Bosch Solution 6000 alarm system to connect to the MyAlarm cloud security service. This enables optional use of the iFob Control app, available for compatible iOS and Android devices.

With MyAlarm and iFob Control configured, users can check system status, arm or disarm the system, operate compatible doors and outputs, and receive alarm event notifications where supported.

Important SMS App Notice

The older My Alarm SMS Control app is no longer available on newer versions of Android and some newer Apple devices. If you already have the app installed, you may still be able to use existing app functions, however SMS control may not operate in all cases with the 4G dialler.

For customers wanting modern app control, MyAlarm cloud and iFob Control should be considered where compatible and correctly configured.

Firmware Upgrade Information

Your Bosch Solution 6000 panel firmware version should be checked before installing the CM748B. You can locate the serial number in MENU 700 or underneath the GSM board on the Bosch 6000 main panel.

  • Panel firmware must be version 2.51.04 or higher
  • Firmware upgrades may be possible on compatible panels
  • A CM910 Flash Cable is required to connect to the alarm panel for firmware upgrades
  • There is no other supported way to upgrade the panel firmware
  • Firmware updates should only be completed by someone familiar with Bosch Solution 6000 programming
